Today I’m helping out Joe. He designed and built a Hall Table which he thought looked too chunky at the top. After hearing where he struggled, I came up with a few design tweaks which included, making the proportions a bit lower and longer, Adding visual lightness to the top by adding a chamfer, and adding visual weight to the bottom by adding a shelf. Finally I revealed my new design to Joe to hear his thoughts.
